Hey Tim have you got a spare A+ water heated inlet manifold I could purchase off you. The hose connections on mine have rotted away and not much left for the hose to attach to, for 1 3/4" carb. What would the affect be if I by-passed the manifold with a piece of pipe, cool the incoming air, denser charge and more power? :D or freeze up the manifold? [xx(]

sorry panky i am out of stock, but you should easily find one on ebay,
the idea of the water heating is to help vapourisation when starting from cold, i think the cross over point is about 7 miles, fter that all it does is lower charge density and inrease charge temperature :( i have run them unheated no problems.
you might get the manifold to freeze if you give it 15lbs of boost ;)

Thanks Tim, I might just by-pass it for now I've got the twins to put on and I only really want to get the engine running reliably before swapping.
