Saw an advert on Facebook for retro electric bikes, scooters etc etc. One of those big adverts that look real.....
Fell in love with a bike for £89 plus £9 postage. Very reasonable so I ordered one. My bank refused payment which was lucky!
Bit of research.... The website was based in the US, the money was going to another company in China... The bike turned out to be a hand built aluminium bike built in Germany with a retail price of £5,300!! Glad my bank were switched on! The website was www.eurpop.com

That was lucky. Did you give them debit or credit card details? Did you tell Facebook

I did on both counts. I've spoken to the bank about it too

I got ticked off by my bank for using a debit card online when my card got cloned. Bank said it's not so much the money getting pinched the massive problems occur if they clone your identity and get loans ete etc. Nice bike though
