Axle

Rear axle from a Rover P4, all complete and good, same pcd as commer, i think its 4.87 diff ratio, so taller than a commer, a bit narrower so spacers or more offset on the wheels needed. a bit of a clean up and some mods and its a good upgrade. i can bring it to the meet if needed yours for 25 quid :)

Nice! I am interested, but won't be at Commerfest :( and need to work out some logistics. If I bought it, would you be able to hold on to it for a while?

If you want it, then I will keep it as long as you like Charlie :)

No. Stupid friends decided to get married this weekend. On the bright side though, I have just borrowed an engine crane off Sunbeam Sam, which means I can put the remainder of the weekend to good use getting the engine out of Frodo. Hopefully next Week it will be winging it's way to none other than Mr Maltas for super shiny rebuild goodness!

It says in my tec data sheet for the commer the diff ratio is 4.77 and there was an optional extra of a 5.125 on the 2000 series models.

It seems the later vans and dodge vans had the 4.77 diff and the early vans had 5.12 or 5.62;)
