Awning

Does anybody have an awning, (preferably driveaway), for a commer PB for sale, or know where I could find one? I would like something of the same era as my van (1975) but perhaps they don't survive that long...?

This one pops up all the time......... have a look at previous threads. But as everyone knows, I 'champion' the Outdoor Revolution Navigator. Modern, very light, large, adaptable and fits very well! I had an original awning but it was everything the modern on wasn't!!! plus being canvas it stank!

I have a couple of awnings (neither for sale sorry!) - a nice retro one (which was damaged by a storm a few weeks ago) and a modern one which looks all nylonny and modern but works very well. The pros and cons are debated here:

the big downside for retro awnings (in my opinion) is the size of them when they are packed up. The poles and canvas take up alot of space in the van. Also do you have a coachbuilt or a er... van van?

I love my original awning - it doesn't stink but it has that aroma only a canvas one has - and it's orange [8D]
