Is anyone interested in rescuing a Commer Autosleeper? It’s located in Cornwall. I’ll pass on the owners telephone number by PM if you are.

I don’t know the van it seems beyond repair after sitting in the sea air for too many years. it’s just a shame to see it go to a scrap dealer as there are some parts worth rescuing. The only thing I could do with off it for mine is the instrument panel and possibly the front bumper.

Such a shame, someone loved it enough to fit an SU conversion - one of Tims by the look of it. Apart from the SU conversion and the bumper there's a few useful bits on it - the grille (complete with corner sections) and door handles are difficult to find and I love the spot A post lamp.
It would be amazing if someone could rescue it though.
