Autosleeper Curtains(?)

I got these off someone from here a couple years ago (his name escapes me - Simon?) but I won't be using them on Tulip. They appear to have never been used. The fella reckoned that they were specifically for an Autosleeper, but I'm not convinced. I haven't bothered working out what was what (cos I'm a real man and I don't do messing about with fabrics), but there's a lot of material so am sure they could be adapted if need be.

They're heavy yellow gingham cotton backed with white cotton and come with non-matching blue lengths for the Autosleeper elevated roof windows.

Any questions please ask and I'll get the missus to answer!

Hi Chamba, There I was lurking and catching up a bit cos I've not been on here for ages, and you tempt me with curtains! Hope they're not fattening.

Anyway, I have a few 'girly' questions (inspired by my mum!),
when you say backed with white cotton do you mean a bonded backing or that they have a lining? Do they have a header tape at the top only or at the bottom as well (for a guide)? Looks like there is plenty there, do you think it's a full set?

Hi Martin, I'll take a peek when I get home to answer your questions properly (I might need the missus to help me!). As for a full set, I should think so, as in I'd think that all window surfaces would be covered. I see that you're fairly local to me, so you're welcome to take a look as well, cheers.
 
Right I've had a look. They're lined with heavy white cotton which is sewn to the gingham on the tops and sides. There's 8 bits of gingham material, 7 have a slot at the top to slide a cable through and 1 has slots top and bottom. They all seem to have unused Velcro fastenings that could be used to secure them in place. Having looked at them I'm still none the wiser as to what is what!
 
I've had a good look and a think as my current set have little plastic hooks and a top rail. I'd rather stay with this than go the twangy rope route I'm afraid. Thanks for checkin' them out though.

Rupert - I need to have a proper look at these as I really can't work out what goes where. They are different to my original Autosleeper curtains, I know that much. The more I think about it, the less I'm convinced that these are Autosleeper specific and perhaps dare I say it, possibly for a Bay Window VW [:0] Either way, not knowing what they are isn't really helping my sell!
