Colin, although some of it doesn't seem to make sense, I think it says something like
In the previous article on Spanish lorries seen the little cheeky Pegaso J4 , which was a license-produced Peugeot which was really a Karrier , who was a Commer became a dodge sometimes called Fargo ...
Initially it was a Commer, from Rootes concern, 1500 FC was called the small and modern van 1960. From 1967 the model name was PB and now it starts messing up . Chrysler Europe took over Rootes and then spawned Commer of themselves in the new range . They were sold and built also in export markets as the Dodge K120 , K160 and K180 , and Fargo with the same model division .
From 1974 upgraded model and now called just Spacevan, Commer name was abolished after 1975. Two years later it was time for a change of ownership again , the remnants of Chrysler's European escapades was purchased by the PSA group . Now sold as Spacevan by Peugeot , though still built in England, under the Dodge name , except where they were built in Portugal and Iran. Spacevan came to be built until 1983. .
But they have thus been sold in Sweden too , but probably not to any great extent , some of the readers who have memories of these quirky Dodge buses from back in the days , or even know about any surviving copies of it?
