About time I got a readers ride started for the 2 vans.
Time to start with the 1967 2500 12 seater Bus.

Cheers,

Before getting rego & roadworthy cert (equivalent to UK MOT) still got some work to do on the interior of the van, likewise going over checking all mechanicals and electrics & sorting out various things on the vehicle body. Has still got the annexe locking clips on roof near gutter from previous owners annexe for taking their family camping.

Annexe? is that what we call an awning? :D

Yup, thats right. Annexes mostly have the side walls fitted in over here compared against most Aussie awnings which are used like either a fold out or roll out type of blind.

Have got one with side walls that will fit either van either at the rear or alongide (depending on what is more convenient).[8D]

Thanks Adam,

Am looking forward to getting her back on the road sometime soon. Also got to sort out getting the mechanical side step which came with it tidied up & re-fitted under the single left hand side door.

She had a bull bar on her before with a bumper of sorts (3 pieces of chrome (non commer) bumper joined together), one of the first things to come off it. Far less dominating of the lines on the front of the van and now keeps the Commer lettering (badges) visible too.
