1974 Autosleeper for spares or repair

A common story of a project that has ended up being just too much work for me so its time to see if someone else is interested in it.

'Thomas' 1974 Autosleeper with Ford 2300 Diesel engine fitted.

Complete interior has been removed but is all there and in fairly good condition, most of it has been refurbished and varnished.

Some of the bodywork repairs have been carried out- o/s fluted side panel replaced, o/s front inner sill replaced, o/s leafspring mount and outrigger replaced, roof gutter/side panel partially repaired. Plenty of welding left to do but included in the sale are 3 sections of roof gutter, n/s fluted side panel, n/s front inner sill, lower side panel repair section.

The engine conversion is a bit basic and could do with some attention but it does work.

I think there are some old photos on the site if you search for 'thomas' but i will try and post some more recent ones.

I am asking around £500 and the vehicle is located near Loughborough, Leicstershire

Anyone interested send me an e-mail [email protected]

I have got some other bits that I am planning to sell separatly but could be included for the right price - Roof rack, 4 new reproduction hub caps, early style instrument console
