1973 Commer Highwayman

Hi - I have a lovely 1973 Highwayman van I want to sell. Any advice please? Best places etc.?

Should I get a full service? Full restoration externally. She looks lovely.

Hi and welcome:)
We would love to see your van, any pics?
You could spend a fortune on a restoration and never get what you put into it back and I would only suggest you do restore it if you are keeping it and let the new owner do their own thing. But a good service would give the new owner some confidence in driving their new purchase home and enjoying it.
I can only suggest the usual places to put it up for sale - on here would be a good start as we do get people asking if there are any for sale then ebay, Car and Classics and if you can stand the inane comments and useless advice maybe Face ache. Good luck whatever you decide and please let us know how you get on.
Cheers

Hi back, and thankyou for your reply. I have already had her professionally restored externally. It was a big job, and she looks lovely. The plan was to gut the insides and convert to a food van, but I split with my partner, and have had her in storage ever since. Here are some pics. All of the rust was cut out and replaced.

She does look lovely, is the interior still as in the pic? I don't think you'll have any problem selling her, she looks like a great van ready for a family to enjoy.

Next step is do do a full write up, with a price you have in mind, location, and post it in the for sale section. Good luck:)

Getting her serviced next week hopefully, then a quick tidy-up and clean and I'll put her on. Thanks for the advice.
