most multi input fridges (gas 12v/240v) only cycle on thermostat control when on 240v, when running on 12v they just run flat out - around 6 amps
in terms of overall battery use, would your leisure battery last longer running through an inverter (with its associated efficiency loss) to power the fridge on 240v so that it is thermostatically controlled or..
run the fridge flat out on 12v
the 240v fridge I have draws 0.6amps, so I am wondering whether its worth running through an inverter or just saving it for 240v hookups
