    Sweet.. found on ebay.

Love the video: The Comber (yes, that's how he pronounces it), is basically an English sports car with the body of a camper!

Another fan of Fitzees Fabrication, well worth a look

    Finished!!!

Despite being a bit of a purist, do you mind if I love it? I would rather see something different and inventive like this than perfectly good coachbuilt campers being ripped apart and converted to catering vans, then abandoned after 18 months when the business fails.

    Out and About

That is a beautiful Austin. I used to drive a wheelchair accessible minibus version as a volunteer in the early 80s. The driver's door was situated behind where the cab on yours finishes. It had a top speed of about 40mph, a straight cut gearbox (or knackered syncromesh) and a double jointed...

    Car Camper 4852 SP

That looks most impressive and makes my bit of upholstery (still not had the courage to start) look trivial.

A Tornado Hit the Back of the Garage

Crikey, that sounds nasty. We had one near us a few years ago which caused a very narrow trail of devastation. It even lifted a pre-cast concrete roof on a block of three garages and dumped it down again about a foot to one side. I hope Ted and Harvey are ok.

    Interesting hybrid Bluebird?

I was thinking it may be the model which followed yours circa 1964/65, before they fitted the more rounded front above the cab. The lower panels, particularly around the rear quarters have been altered and a bridging piece has been fitted between the cab roof and luton.

    Interesting hybrid Bluebird?

This looks like a 1960s Bluebird body grafted onto a 1970s Bedford chassis cab. What do you think? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174946782446?hash=item28bba40cee:g:30AAAOSwwYVhPymj

    Vive le rust porn

Thank you for that advice. I went to my local motor factors to discuss paint and see if they could get the correct colour as helpfully, Renault have re-introduced the paint code used for mine for a new colour. When I mentioned this the lad behind the counter instantly knew what I was talking...

    Vive le rust porn

I thought it was about time to give a bit of an update on this long running saga. I have moved lock-ups again as My landlord saw me struggling with the space I had and commented that I would benefit from a larger garage if one became available. Soon afterwards he contacted me to say one was...

Thank you for that response. I will have to do a bit of research locally to find somewhere that can mix me some Bleu Fonce 460. Unfortunately, Renault have reused the code for the current range of cars, but I need the one used between 1972 and 1979. Basically, it is very dark blue in a solid...
