Been on to insurance again to see if they could recatagorize the claim,but they say they can`t,as if i had it back and there was an accident they would be liable for letting me put it back on road.

Hi guys,been trying to get insurance to let me keep it but they wont budge,so it looks as if it`s got to go,as i need the money to either restore this one or buy another van:(:(.

Thanks for the advice guys,but i`m going to try my hardest to keep the van,it was the best thing i ever bought and we all loved it and want it back on the road,and as you say its a piece of history.i`ve rang the insurance and i`m waiting for the engineer to phone back.

Insurance assessor has been,and shock horror he said its a write off. Asked about keeping it but he reckons i wont be able to buy it off the insurance company:(.

look`s like a nice buy[^],by the way, has it got all its hub caps:D.

Will try, even if i just pop along on my bike for the day.
