HELP NEEDED URGENTon the side of the road with radiator emptied

Thought it was something to do with that and the older cooling pipes - very hard to get a definitive answer!

HELP NEEDED URGENTon the side of the road with radiator emptied

Up to you - empty it all and refill with the right mix of antifreeze and water (30% antifreeze - 70% water usually. It will tell you on the antifreeze you buy) or just let out a couple of litres and top up with concentrate anti freeze. You can get the blue stuff from most car shops. Once you...

HELP NEEDED URGENTon the side of the road with radiator emptied

There is usually a drain tap at the bottom - centre front of the radiator. Twist anti clockwise and empty a bit out and top up with a concentrate coolant - should all be good. If the van got back home without issue you should be fine so don’t panic too much :)

    Armourgeddon day out

Just been for a day out at armourgeddon with Jo and highly recommend it - paintballing in real tanks!!! Paul - it might not excite you so much but for someone who’s never driven or shot from a tank it’s pretty amazing. includes a small Museum there.

    DODGE SUPERVISTA

Will do - will be mounted to the front bumper if it goes on but I’ve got quarter bumpers and I think should look cool with a grill. Panky has his fitted hidden under the valance so much more stealth

    1968 Commer PB Project

Would be amazing, guess issue with the wider front is turning due to the enclosed wheels, even fitting slightly wider tyres can catch. I’ve got 205’s on 14” wheels and I still had to slightly roll the inner wheel arch lip Good luck

    DODGE SUPERVISTA

Also flipped the scoop, bought a KTM bike rad, made some mounting brackets on the bumper and put in all the pipe work in (blocked off for now). Going to test the temps before deciding to actually fit the rad

    DODGE SUPERVISTA

We’ll all the work on the rad, water pump, fan kits etc. came to nothing in the end! ‘boiled’ down to it being the head gasket blown in multiple places. Think this was a new thing as the coolant used to be clear but noticed it turned grey fairly quickly after a recent change and some oil...

    New Starter motor

Came with the correct pinion and a simple install. Biggest pain was fitting it and then realising I couldn’t attach the main feed due to it being between the starter and the engine - off again attached. The van always started well and after 3-4 cranks but now it’s first crank from cold and...

Ah, interesting about not needing the control unit. Something on my list do so when not so busy with the other 100 things I want to do :)

    Oh Bottoms!

Good work - love to hear how the power steering goes. Never heard of using a Prius, usually a Corsa. Any advantages to a Prius one?
