You can do it, Baz ! If I can drag myself across the North Sea, you can drag yourself up from the Southeast! C'mon ;)

And thanks so very much for stopping by! It was lovely to see you both. I'm so honoured that you prioritised it. Please send all our love to your wife. That photo reminds me of that big lovely bottle of lemonade in the cafe, Colin. Priced at four quid, a but pricey, but for Oslo - and a lovely...

That's a very nice van you've got yourself there, Mick. It's unique, no question. Congratulations.

    Ultimate commer

I know I shouldn't say this, as you might think that I had lost my interest/enthusiasm/devotion/love for our Bluebird Highwayman - which would be so far from reality as you could possibly get. But my ultimate Commer would be an early 60s Maidstone (or Caravan/Caravanette as they were called in...

    Tank in the air!

It was impressively well packed, Chris, that was my main point. It was so well packed, that it took forever to remove the packaging material. A worthy testament to the packer, I'd say ! Superb work :)

    Tank in the air!

Yes, it has indeed. Landed a week ago, in fact. Unwrapped in extreme excitement by yours truely and our two children (they were, in fairness, more excited about all the cardboard - and the fact that they could make a play boat out of it. :D ) Christine had really done a sterling packaging...

    Tank in the air!

How excited I am ! New alu tank for the Bluebird was picked up at Tim's on Monday and is now "en route" to Norway. :) Cleverly disguised (in the papers) as a water tank, there are high hopes that I will avoid the claws of Customs and Excise, and escape with a nominal charge for the import...

    North American Commer

Facecrack ! Hahaha !!! :D :D :D It's a shame the entire interior has gone. But, on the other hand, it would have hid all that pretty alarming amount of rust. Interesting too that it was sold by Wilsons as new - as a LHD. Wilsons did export quite a few Commer campers across to the States...
