And....... My bloody arms are dropping off so have called it a night. Just need to put prop, exhaust, etc. etc. back on and see if that noise has been cured... please! Will let you know tomorrow or Friday.

Got gear box back on..... That is NOT an easy job on your own?? - that's the 2nd time I've done it, talk about hard work?!?[:0] Still it's on now.:)

Surely the cost of transport on top of the purchase price is more than a really nice one from the UK??? Sold my Espirit to guy in Italy.... £1400.00 just for the transport in Europe!?!?

There's a nice folding chart/diagram in the handbook? - i would guess at about... 20 plus including prop, pedals etc

Spigot bearing looks ok... a bit dry (could be the reason for the noise?) What should I lubricate it with - copper ease?? Swapped release bearing too... a tight fit on the clutch pivot arm though??

Thanks Mr.P Will replace it if I can get it off/out. Now the g/b is off I just to replace anything that could be a problem if it will solve the noise issue or save time in the future!?!??? Will sleep on it and have a look in the morning.

Friction plate looks very clean and shiney.... no damage. Spigot bearing... which bit is that please??

Got box off, and clutch plate/cover off. As i thought, the clutch plate and release bearing are not worn much at all!?!?? Could the whirring/rubbing noise (which is why I'm replacing the clutch plate) only heard when the clutch is pressed, be the release bearing not pivoting in the holder...
