    Smurfs clutch??

If it is a stuck clutch plate we had this once after being parked up for six weeks. We try and get out at least every fornight minimum, prevention better than cure. I was advised to put it in reverse then turnign the ignition on and pressing the ingnition with teh clutch down. The starter...

    Floaty Steering

The intermediate steering relay lever was an advisory on our last MOT and we got the repair pin from speedies which worked a treat. It took a lot of play out of the steering. You could see the play best at the top of the pin where the spring is, it was most obvious when the front was jacked up...

    Diff preload

We did ours on the van at the weekend and made sure we counted the turns. It went back exactly the same turns and wouldn't go any further even if I had had more weetabix so maybe you don't have to. I would for peace of mind though (not that you can as it is already off).

    Weber Carb!

I think ours is an ICH34 but can't check till I get the paperwork out (I checked when trying to find a K&N for it, the flat one doesn't fit under the engine cover I checked) Ours orginally had a battered flat sports filter which had bent to the shape of the engine lid. We have an adapter on it...
