You are one of the very few to see the light. Great van. You will love it at times then hate it at times. Perseverance will pay off then you will never want to part with it. VW are ten a penny any way.:):):)

I get people stopping me with Carter my pickup. Most of the time to give me back something that has fallen off of it.;) You missed the most common comment. HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT FOR THE PICKUP. If I had a shed full of the I would be rich.:);):):)

Test the thermostat in a few cups of boiling water to check it is fully opening. Check the water pump is pumping water round the system. the postbus had the same fault till I put a rad flush in the system. When I drain the water it is always a bit rusty water.:):):)

Short run to Stirling. Unusually for a pleasure run as I use Carter to work most days. Should really get better pictures as I was at Stirling castle.:):):) Some one will probably post a picture as Pank has spies everywhere.

After looking through the forum found out that the pickup I have had the name of Carter in the past so Carter it is. The wood on the sides was falling to bits so replacements are being made. Removed the paint from the lower panels as this was flaking off. Now ready to be repainted. Hope to get...

The post buses had a separator cage behind the drivers seat.The one on my mini bus has been removed. Would thing if would be ok as have not seen one with the bar still in.:):):)

Post bus did the same thing. Had an intermittent fault:mad:. You would have great brakes:)then no brakes:( Had to drive home on hand brake at one point. No leaks found. In the end had to fit a new master cylinder from Martin. Van great now.:):):)

Unfortunately I am moving storage units and that would not go in the door. I would be looking for a price if it did. Just getting the numbers up in Scotland.:):):)
