I think you could remove them, and then reposition them somewhere else, if you are happy to make new pipes to the burners.

Hi All! Frodo is making a wierd tapping sound when in gear and driving. It almost sounds like asewing machine, and changes speed in line with engine revs. I thought it might be pinking, but have retarded the dizzy and it doesn't seem to make any difference. Also played around with the mixture...

I'm pretty sure I've seen one, where the skirts were on hinges, and there was the spare tyre and tools in it, in "cupboards" about 12" high. Ring any bells with anyone on here?

I believe the pickup vans had tool boxes under the floor. Shouldn't be too hard to do, and would be pretty useful - I did think of doing it myself, but haven't got round to it yet!
