Last November Jigley got his fist ever garage in 47 years. It's a shame it's taken me 7 years since his renovation as the tin worm is starting to show in various places. The single garage is a workshop and storage unit. The outside has now been block paved and has enough room for turning.

Had similar issues with my van. Changed the solenoid and put new leads from battery through to starter motor, it instantly cured the problem. When I looked at the old solenoid,which was probably 46 years old, it was well burnt and the Bakerlite casing was cracked and brittle, so not surprised it...

I had 60 thou taken off mine some years ago and it made a big difference to power and torque coupled with the HIF44 SU carb conversion. Tim said to me afterwards that you could probably take 1 mm off without any problem.
