Juut got commer insured £69, what a bargin, from RH insurance, m.o.t on thursday at 3.30pm wish me luck. Then its on the road. Not done much on it this week been at work but got a 5 day weekend so will be able to get on with it then.

the insulation under the wood is the stuff you use under laminate flooring, i had some left kicking about in shed. there are three bits of welding i need to do before the floor goes down but it needs to go down to my mates workshop and on the ramp for him to do that and he will m.o.t it for me...

seats all in, new wipers, still need tyres. been cleaning out side of van all day, t-cuted whole van, cleaned roof, arms are acheing.

Does any body know a rough price to have a commer coverted to gas. mine is running a webber carb if that makes a difference.

Stripped the interior out of commer yesterday, couple of nasty welding repairs have been done on the floor but nothing drastic. going to remake interior using ply wood using the old one as a pattern i think. Does any one know what i should put on the sides of the van before i put interior back...

Just had a look round camper this evening, started a shopping list, i need rear window catch for sliding window, front grille surround, new sink and stove, rear door panels, front seats that are comfy, head lamp peaks, wheels, the list goes on... any body help.

Well i dont know if its got overdrive (what ever it is) but there is a chrome stick on the side of the steering column with overdrive on it. Hopefully getting it home soon. Is it worth saving interior or ripping it out and starting again. I'm rather handy with wood so can make new cabinets to...
