hi kes .. when the engine is running its useing the fuel !so no smell but when u turn it of whats left ..seeps out due to faulty pipes / gaskets or similar . gravitys a bugger

hard it was rigid .. how strong is or was the smell is there any petrol drips underneath ????? when you lift the engine cowel can you see any damp spots round the carb ???????? or any obvious signs of a leek ... split pipe ! leaking gasket etc ...

got a spare at my place if you get stuck ...broke two jags last year 4 there gearboxes bw 65 direct replacment for the 35 only much stronger :D build a lot of things with rovers as light and very tuneable and the 65 bolts strait on

capri 3ltr is not far off 3.00 :)hence why theres one in my commer :D

commerracer iv just thought of somthing that mite interest you.. i rodded a ford p100 pickup a few years ago FIVE STUD wheels .. i used rover alloys on that to :) so that means that any of the wheels fitted to those will have the right pcd for the commers & they did some nice alloys for those...

got another the same as mine:D:D mite take a bit longer than a day though[8D] .. will have kettle on for when you get here :)
