A few jobs done on my ol' boy to help him see the road again... A full scrape and waxoil on the underneath. Fun with an oxy acetylene torch to get the plug out of the rear diff (and what was possibly the original oil!) then replaced... And not photographed, but also done... A high torque...

Dumb question... Are all axles 'equal' or do some come with a different diff ratio? One is always needing to think about improving cruising speed...

I have the Lexus 6 speed and helps to hold a comfortable 56 with spare to overtake if sensible... I really like it.
