Note the sleeve, added to strengthen the weld joint, i've seen these with square ends fully welded round, which is the worst possible way of doing it.     Doing something a bit different with Ermintrudes axle. Normal people take it off and convert something else to fit. me being me decided to keep the stock axle but convert it to take a Rover diff. Commer and Rover axles.
