Doing something a bit different with Ermintrudes axle. Normal people take it off and convert something else to fit. me being me decided to keep the stock axle but convert it to take a Rover diff. Commer and Rover axles.

Converting the V8 from early remote float HS type SU's to later concentric HIF type, so i thought a couple of stub stacks would be a nice addition. Magnesium alloy.

I recently decided to part with the J4, had it 15 years and it's done me proud, but it wsn't getting used and needed some tidying. Along with it went the Kreidler, for similar reasons. After discovering a local trials club, i went out and got myself a 1937 Ariel 350.

Invested some loot in good tooling to cut 5 angle valve seats and re-face & backcut valves. That's 5 angles on the inlet and Stock 45* exhaust.

Thought i'd already posted this, but obviously not. Since we lost George last year, we've welcomed a new adopted member of the family. Bruno, aged 5, he's not quite the lovely cuddly boy George was and seems to think all visitors are from the gestapo, but we're getting there.

Getting close to that time of year again. Unfortunately the Honda 90 isn't ready this year, but i have managed to put together a 50cc Kreidler for a bash.

Sectioned a cylinder head through the centrline of the ports, exhaust top, inlet bottom. Not too impressed with the exhaust, but the inlet has some good points. Still plenty of room for improvement with Mr Die grinder.

Paul JL has decided that the daily news van is due a slight power increase, so we have one Ford 400 (6.6L) V8 sitting here, along with loads of boxes of serious tuning goodies, including some Air flow dynamics aluminium heads from Australia.

Been a bit involved with this for a few months. Made a new aluminium frame for it, and it will be off to Pendine sands for speed week very soon.

We had a wonderful few days in the Colonel at Pendine. Took the C90 down for Speed week and set 2 UK land speed records. Over 600 mile round trip.
