Can anyone help regarding the above? Does the t shaped piece bolt securely to the wheel well and then the seat is adjustable forwards and back? Or does it sit further back on the thinner lip on the step into the cargo area? Which I think would make all fixing holes be on the wheel well and...

Everything is ordered and from demon tweaks of all places. All 6mm fittings to go over the hard plastic line and onto the fuel pump and fuel pump to carb. Fitting required for the fuel pump appears to be 1/4" male hose connector. I expect I may need hoses for the cooling system when I start on...

Hi panky I have a hard plastic pipe coming from the tank which then has a larger rubber hose over it and the larger rubber goes onto my fuel pump. Rubber hose is just jubilee clipped over hard plastic pipe. I need a male to hose connector for fuel pump and job done. Will hunt the Internet to...

Getting fed up, argh, I have taken out the temporary electronic fuel pump, prepped everything for the replacement fuel pump and the discovered that the hose connection is a different size and that I am a fitting short. Can anyone help me with the correct fuel line sizes that should be installed...

So, final check of everything and points of concern are: Hazard lights only flash the left indicators yet just indicators all work well. If I say not fitted they can be ignored though. Seat secureness , job to be done. I expect I will be the one sat in the van for the test, hopefully

    Sliquorice strips

Hi Martin, are these designed to be pushed into the gap after you break the seal slightly? Will know better on Saturday when the van is on a ramp but sure my van is leaking oil from there.

Mirrors required a slight fettle to fit: Van is booked in for MOT on Saturday morning at 9am and it is also insured with RH Insurance. I will try and sketch out my bed idea as it would be an option for you as I am 6'5"

Seat belt mounts are 3 point and built in to the bed / seat frame. They can supply the seat "pull tested" at little over £800. They will build to custom sizes also, so if you have autosleeper seats etc you can use the original seat tops. I have a completely empty van so I am building from...

Current thought is to have a bench seat across the back of the cab seat (that the back removes from and the cab bed overlaps when out) and then have the rock n roll facing forwards a table width / unfolded width away. This would create a longer bed as I am quite tall and we are not going to...

I think you are right panky, I will see if I can improve it tomorrow. Lens in clean so it isn't dirt. Looking at how bright the other side is I would say it is an earth connection issue. Hi doug, yes it's combicolour, mixed 4:1 and made to a ral code of my choice. Wipers fitted, letters...

Nearly there, I can feel the mot phonecall happening soon :-) Located the bad earth and found the light fitting was dodgy, so remedied that and now have indicators all round. Rear right I dictator is a bit weak though?!?! Windscreen washer pipes to reconnect and passenger door to touch up...

I am going to have a thorough look over the van prior to mot to try and limit the amount of visits! Been playing with Electrics today. Reconnected the head lamps and found they no longer worked (they were playing up before I removed them). No dimmed or main beam. I checked the voltage to the...

Last of the exterior painting finished this morning. Some really ropey bits but the plan is to get some fine discs for my orbital and target areas when I have time. Electrics to sort for lights etc and reconnect the washer lines. Couple of mechanical bits and an exhaust bracket and I may book...

Look worse in the flesh, have just been firing the paint on with a brush to quickly get it roadworthy. Going to pick up some high grade wet and dry orbital discs to target areas of the van to tidy up over time.
