thanks gents but it's the petrol tank sender , I presume it's the original tank and sender unit . not taken it out but friend 'in the know' checked the unit an said it's not working properly . Actually shows full most of the time then drops to half way and then it's empty !

My Commer is in need of a sender unit , is there a specific one or would any off ebay do ? (from 16 pounds to 80 odd) . Thanks , Ken

Hello Panky , thanks , been mulling it around my empty head and think maybe I will as it has been standing sometimes for months without attention apart from occasional charging of the battery !

Latest , Gertrude needs all the oil changed and few other little thing looked at so have taken it to a mechanic I know who has a lift and service garage , I am getting an electric petrol pump fitted and the brakes serviced as when I had a puncture and changed wheel for spare a couple of weeks...
