    Hello Angus , how did the new starter motor work out ?? I have to take mine off to try and sort it as just doesn't want to start , engine turns so slow it wont catch !! Cheers , Ken

    Outdoor Van Cover

    Unfortunately my Commer (Gertrude) has to live outside but I have a cover by Covercraft of Europe , seems to work well, also have some (3) dehumidifier packs that draw any dampness and can be re used after 10 minutes or so in the microwave !

    Sorry taken so long abeying 'the law' , hope these are ok ! Ken Bike is 1912 Excelsior (American X) in original paint 30.50cu inch with coaster brake(back pedal) on rear only , single speed with clutch

    Presume you have checked the brake fluid and connections ? how old is the fluid , maybe it's gone past its sell by date . Can you see in the resevoir if there is any movement of fluid when pedal pushed !? maybe plunger rubber needs renewing ? Good luck .

    Thanks , First thing I did , also checked for shorts as battery seemed to go down quick . So bought another battery but same thing ! Have to give good look over when the weather gets a little warmer as have to leave outside (covered) unfortunately ! Keeping batteries charged in garage !
