Hi Tony and fellow Tourstar owner, we fitted Aeon Hollow Spring Assistors to help with the load. A guy came to the house to fit them. We picked a medium rubber but there was a harder option. I do have a spare set of springs yet to fit, but the spring assistors certainly do help, I hope this...

Ah, silly me! For the last 10 years we have been going away on that very weekend with our classic car club, we then sacrifice the next meeting to go to Moffat with the Commer. When the Daimler is up and running, loyalties might be divided even thinner!! :oops:

Our van had the same issue with rattling, changed the front shocks to hilux, problem solved! As you mentioned, we had play in the mounts too. There is no need to take the spring out, just jack up the bottom to take the pressure off.

I saw the model on the side and wondered if you’d be interested in this gem on eBay at the moment?
