    Little Bus its first wedding.

Yep and what a cool trend;) The only annoying thing is the passengers continually calling it a Kombi:mad:. The photographer must have said "Back in the Kombi" half a dozen times while we toured the countryside stopping for photos. At one time i overheard someone say, "I dont understand why a...

    It's alive, Its alive! MUWAHAHA!

Thanks Panky,:D I must admit, I was pretty surprised when it started up and ran so well. Two of the pistons should really be in the bin but i had little choice with no new parts for the TD199,s being available anymore:(. Many of the parts including the pistons were found buried under leaves...

    Little Bus its first wedding.

Had a request to use the bus on a wedding last weekend and i was very proud of how it looked and ran, with 11 passengers and a tin bath full of booze on board we clocked up just over 100miles on the day.

    Commer TS3 parts "anybody, anybody"

Thanks for the info Talbot,:D I tried Mark and he is very helpfull, although he only has parts for the newer TD-215 engines and not the older TD-199:rolleyes:. I have managed to get a set of used pistons from someone that dont appear too bad, with ring clearances still allmost within spec and...

    Commer TS3 parts "anybody, anybody"

My latest project in the realms of Commer insanity is the restoration of a 1957 TS3 Td199 engine. Parts for these early TS3's are unobtainium and i am having to build it from literally bits and pieces found laying around in scrap yards. Does anybody out there in Commer land have any piston...

    Spring dust off down under

Yes john, apart from a few stone chips for the van and a few more grey hairs for me the vans non the worse for that trip. Although i miss the open road we had to find somewhere to live sooner or later. We bought and old house on a few acres that was in a very bad state, so all my spare time...
