I only get to work on jimmy at the weekend so along with my mgb overhaul and my lads saab 900 and his escort van oh and the wife it seems to take for ever. But when you turn a corner it's very exciting. I'm having a fortnight off soon and hopefully the high top will becoming off and the fun will begin with the roof and guttering then back on with the high top. Not a popular choice but I like the space it gives and hey there's note wrong with being different ;)
 
yes but such fun. My 92yo neighbour has just bought a new new fiat tribute and yes it may be reliable, economical, build in lighting, shower, toilet etc etc but it is just a silver van and where's the soul. Don't get me wrong he loves the old stuff and I can't really see him replacing a bust fanbelt on the hard shoulder
 
So true....I drive a new truck all week with all mod cons and it's great as a mobile office and about as exciting as one.
 
A commer office would probably be one of those bouncy castle play pits, lots of single glazed windows, some wicker type furniture, the gurgle type water dispenser, posters blue tacked up with a few mascots dotted about, a red retro telephone direct line to the it/spares department. Rust, draights and leaks optional extras :D
 
The height barrier on most public car parks. Come and visit us in Bury St Edmunds, we have a car park specifically for campervans. There is no height barrier and the spaces are extra large. What's more, if a car parks in one of the campervan spaces it gets a ticket!
 
Wow that's good of them. I had to raise my litte carport to get my battle bus in. No chance of getting a hi top under it
