Just a thought, have you tried putting a scissor jack between the axle and the floor to push down, might give a bit more wriggle wroom.

It won't work mate. The coilovers go to full length when the van is jacked up. I have to get the drums on the floor then roll the wheels in from the rear before jacking the axle up to line up the hub. It's a fiddle lol.

Big move forward today.. it's off the stands! I decided to use the original wheels on the front for now.. I made a bet with a lad at work that I could get it ready for MOT this month...
Ground clearance is still an issue but I do now have just under 6" as opposed to the 3" it had before

So. I fired it up for the first time this year. I've refilled and bled the gearbox up. The bloody thing is raring to go...
The front wheels are on a large piece of carpet, the rears are on concrete. Hand brake and foot brake on and it was pushing the carpet out of the garage!!
It's scary

Looks great and sounds awesome, been a slog but feels like you’re pretty much there - did you sort the clearance issues out? See you went over a brick which not that high is a start I guess.
When’s the MOT? Does it need an engineer pass also with those mods?

Clearance seems to be OK. I've got just under 6" from the sump.
Shouldn't need an engineer report, an mot will do it.
