Would jaguer 15 inch 5stud xjs wheels fit a commer

One i can use around rust converter , i am terrifiée of chemical but i need to do a few jobs that i Will be using rust converter, any help really appreceated , THE REAL reason is the rust converter on the wheels , once its dry can i clean the wheels without it getting all over the place or could i just power wash it off , am i over reacting?

I had bought rover p5 wheels a while ago and the GUY dropped them to me today and hé had painted the back inside of the wheels with rust converter stopper and i hate chemicals , i only use 100% natural cleaning products ect at home so i wanted to clean the wheels but wont touch them unless i have a suitable mask , all suggestions really appreciated
 
Rust converter is usually a water based phosphoric acid compound and perfectly safe. If you want to rub the wheels down then use a dust mask, but it would be simpler to just paint over the rust converter if the surface is clean enough.

Thanks panky , wouldnt it be great to be young again ,where u fear nothing , the older i get the more i (know ) the more i fear chemicals , , its,better to be safe than sorry , thanks again panky
 
I bought a Jhb force 8 mask as I was fed up with the usual dust masks that don’t really fit well and goggles mist up. Always was a toss up between lungs or eyes. Wish I’d bought a respirator years ago. They also do different filters.

Does that mask need a a airfeed , i have a 3m 4251+ mask for small paint jobs but was unsure with it bécause rust converter is an acid , panky has put me at ease with it being waterbased , I Will check out the mask u mentioned as i Will be needing it , Jésus years ago i would not even think of a mask ,anyway thanks for the help its really appreceated
 
Might get one myself. I think they are JSP masks unless there another brand with a similar name
 
ANY idea if they would fit ,, my nieghbour is scrapping one with real Nice wheels , the look similiar to the rover ps wheels

No they won't - google PCD - they are not the same as commer, I had to have adapters made for my fronts


Commer stud pattern
stud pattern is 127mm pcd ,same as rover p5, sd1, pre 89 jeep cherokee [commeracer]
also 5 stud ford p100 pick up .. & some new transits [dozer]
