Hi,
I please need some advice on how much to value my Grandma’s old Commer motor caravan, Jennings Roadranger series 2500 Registered 1975/76
It hasn’t been used for 30 years & stored under her carport
It’s in good condition for its age but is a non starter.
The inside is in really good condition.
Any advice would be much appreciated as we need to sell it?
Many thanks
Selena

First I'd like to say welcome to our friendly forum :) and secondly to say what a great original van that is. The exterior looks like it will respond well to a good scrub but you may want to keep that 'garage find' look for now. But I would clean up around the doors and front panel just to see what lies under the moss, it looks pretty solid so that is a big bonus. Could you please post some more pics of the cab door bottoms, door steps inside and under the peak above the windscreen which will give a better idea of condition - and , if possible, take a look underneath to determine how much work is required.
It's great to see the interior as it left the factory and with the original brocade cab seats/bead too. You describe it as a non-runner (to be expected after 30 years) but does the engine turn over or is it seized. Sorry for all the questions but all these points are important for a reasonable valuation which could be anywhere between a few hundred and a few thousand pounds. Commers don't fetch the same prices as VW's but they are becoming more popular so please don't think it's just for scrap, it's a lovely thing and deserves to be back up and running.
I'm biased by the way as we have a Jennings and love it to bits:)
