One brake is stuck on but diff has oil in it. Van has sat for 6 years at the rear of my garage but I'm now refreshing with alternative parts hence the sale of these bits. Cash on collection is fine.

Dumb question... Are all axles 'equal' or do some come with a different diff ratio? One is always needing to think about improving cruising speed...

Early 1500 diffs are 5.6, normal vans are 5.1 and spacevans are 4.77. This one will be 5.1.

Do you know what auto box diff ratio is not looked yet is there a tag or stamp on the axle

They do usually have some sort of marking on the diff. I'm not sure the auto version is any different.

I'm also pretty sure there a two different sizes for the rear brakes - think the later 2500s had the bigger ones. very early vans also had the handbrake on the rear wheels. So in addition to the diff ratios there are a few other differences.
