Having been the custodian for a 1961 Commer Maidstone with high hopes I find the impact of Corona on my work and an unexpected change in domestic circumstances means I could do with a boost to my finances. A very original early van.
I believe this is the earliest Mk1 Commer FC Maidstone - converted by Rootes themselves rather than a third party - on the road in the UK.
In generally good condition with a few little issues here and there on the body. Drives really well and sounds lovely.
In my ownership it's had:
S/H inlet and exhaust manifold.
NOS exhaust downpipe
Set of Continental tyres - less than 200 miles
New reconditioned LUCAS dynamo
Electronic control box inside original LUCAS regulator.
Brand new Bailey Morris propshaft
Window rubbers inc quarterlights
Windscreen rubber
Located in Brighton. Looking for around £9k
