That's the hybrid halfshafts sorted, running nice & true too. Note the sleeve, added to strengthen the weld joint, i've seen these with square ends fully welded round, which is the worst possible way of doing it. These are fishtailed to give a greater linear length of weld and reduce the sudden change of section which is a major stress raiser, bronze welded too which reduces the heat affected zone and changes to the grain structure. The only thing i did mess up was i should really have orientated those fishtails at 90* to each other, but noboby's perfect.
Made some stainless covers, had to extend the clutch one as the new Wilwood master cylinder has the reservior further back. I may tool up to make these if there's enough interest.
