Gas tester

Finally got out in the Dodge yesterday for a first descent run on returning home I hooked it up to a recently brought Gunson gas tester and after following the instructions it was reading 5% ! , so I adjusted the carb and it settled at just under 2.5% I did readjust after this picture to just over 2.5% which the engine seems happy at , to be honest it seemed fine on the earlier run out. I know the Gunson testers aren’t really professional but if they help to get the things running pretty good that’s good enough for me !!.

I got one when the Mini failed the MOT on emissions, a twiddle of the mixture saw the gas tester reading coming down and the mini passed when I took it back

Got to be better to have one, in that situation I suppose you could compare it with the garage one

Got one too - I think they do work well as long as you follow the instructions carefully
