Channel Swim

My sister Mary is at this moment attempting to swim the English Channel, she has been in the water around 16 hours She is raising funds for PKU are rare genetic condition.
Send her some love and encouragement for this tremendous effort.

Update
I was a little bit out of touch with the updates. She set off at 02:10 this morning and reached France at 17:08 - just a shade off 15 hrs.
My god I'm so proud of her - not bad for someone just shy of her 60th birthday

I'll tell my son and daughter. They've recently both done a 5K sea swim (with jellyfish), and we thought that was pretty heroic.
