Been a while..

Hi people...It's me Scotty, anyone remember me? I know, it's been a while.

I'm the idiot that still loves Commer Campers that sold his pride and joy and bought a basket case that still sits to this day on his driveway...Hasn't moved for nearly 2 years :( I have fits and starts with regards to work on her, alas nothing seems to last long before i get side tracked with other things that life throws at me.

I said though that i would never give in, and my ridiculous determination still stands to this day.

I WILL, get to drive my van again...........................One day! :)

Welcome back Scott! I feel your pain (as I still don't have my project much further on). It was your fits and starts which usually inspired my fits and starts. I seem to recall you got as far as painting. Where are you up to?

Thanks for the welcome back messages people :) i'll be giving things another push this week hopefully. I need to order some new petrol lines and then a new battery, and only then, only then....We shall attempt to breathe some life back into the ole girl. :)

I know exactly what you mean I bought a Commer project at commerfest 2010 which is when I met you, we were next to you in a tent. The Commer has sat in my garage for 5 years with no progress but I am reluctant to sell it as I really hope to drive it one day. Come to the meet in a tent mate it will give you some inspiration :)

DSC_0062_1474201515979.JPG jimmy looks like this at present and as for spending the night he holds about as much allure as a something from prisoner cell block H. So it might be a case of a day trip

Keep going with the project, you'll drive it one day.

Eyup peeps. Thanks for the welcome back messages :) i'm pretty pleased with myself today. I've fitted new fuel line and wired up the headlamps. I am currently just a new Battery and an oil filter away from firing up. She's not finished yet as i reckon the brakes will be shagged after sitting for so long but that's a minor issue right? :D i'm getting excited and really finding my mojo. I even smiled a bit today.
