1978 Camper

Hi All,

This van belonged to my wife's Uncle who has sadly passed away.

The family wants to sell it but has no idea what it might be worth.

We know he has had work done to it and it was running, it has been sat for about a year.
Apparently there is rust underneath that needs work doing to it.

If anyone might be interested or could give us a ballpark idea of what it might be worth that would be really appreciated.

The family have had an acquaintance who is interested in buying the van for £2k.

Sorry to hear about your Uncle it looks like he cherished this lovely van. I would say, depending on how much welding is needed, the value is at least two or three times what has been offered. Difficult to tell from the photos but the exterior and interior look great. If possible could you post some photos of the rust you mentioned that way we can form a more accurate idea of what is needed.

Sorry to here of your loss, I don't mean to be to the point but in your situation then the best thing to do is just put it to a auction site take as many pictures as you can or video be honest to your best and if the family friend wants it he can bid and win it fairly. Been there and done it a horrible time and family or not if you do it any other way then someone will have something to say about it. Best of luck and my condolences again. Kind regards. Ryan

Lovely van. As has already been said it's worth what someone would pay for it but it's a minimum of 6k
