as for were the the distributor mounts to the engine block I cant see a gasket , tryed to get at it yesterday but none of my sockets or spanners are the proper size , I even grinded an old spanner to try and fit , it's in a very tight spot so it's hard to get at , I keep saying it so I will...

the 2 into block , I barely turned one and its tight again , not even half a turn, will have to take of glass filter piece so I can get a better turn , I have every socket head except the one I need , so just using an open ended spanner
