    Could anyone tell me which end of the brake arm I have pictured below goes into the handbrake lever on the brake shoe, would it be the stepped end or the plain slotted end?? man thanks

    Door hinge bolts

    On my 1969 PB Ambulance, I needed to drill the door bolts out and bought 5/16" x 24 tpi on the net from Westfield Fasteners, Aylesbury also bought a Taping Set of 5/16" X 24 tpi + a Tapping drill from AVON Engineering Supplies. I don,t know if your van have the same door bolts.

    Not a lot been happening of late, had to move ambulance to a new home and set up, it’s not dead and forgotten though, Engine is with an engine rebuilder and rest of welding will be full steam ahead soon.

    Also the new panels have arrived thanks to Martin, the rot has started to be chopped out and panels offered up, not much further than that though as of yet.

    It’s staying as an ambulance guys 100%, it’s such a one off vehicle it would be a shame to convert it.. Not had much time at all to do anything lately what with one thing and another, but we have removed engine and cleaned the 50 odd years of grime off it, and started to strip it.

    Hi, new member dropping in to say hi, me and my father have purchased a ambulance that we have started to restore, big job, but have a plan and currently putting it into action. Will be on the look out for a list of parts as we go, so fingers crossed we have come to the right place
