    Thanks for the photo's, I now have a length of 70 amp cable to run to the the battery. I am waiting for the alternator to arrive then start with the basic wiring first. I had forgotten about Mr Google.

    Thanks for the tip. I have a wiring diagram here that I took off the site a while back as I am more mechanical than electrical is this the cable that runs from the alternator to the solenoid,, also do the same size cable run to the new fuse boxes

    I bought a Lucas 127 ACR from Rat Sport today, and as the wiring is shot I am ripping all the old stuff out as there are bare wires everywhere, and then hopefully rewire the lot

    Hi Mr P, yes this happened while bleeding the clutch system the piston came out, anybody know the reason why? I don't know if it is the right push rod found in ambulance while cleaning the rubbish out.

    Thanks Mr P I will put a smear of exhaust cement between the flanges , I did look at Martins SU conversion but bought one of his Webcon conversions. so now with this information hope to have engine in before Christmas.

    Advice Required

    What would I use to seal the flanges between the inlet manifold and the exhaust manifold, where the baffle/ deflector is fitted. Is it easier to fit the manifolds on the engine before refitting or when the engine is back in the ambulance. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
