Always get it mixed to suit. Cellulose, 2-pack, waterbourne, acrylic etc will always come out different colours even if the same paint code numbers are put into the mix machine. Not to mention fade.

I have an electric pump mounted and it works fine without a regulator. I mounted it next to the engine for ease of access/maintenance and used an old TR6 inertia switch. An unforeseen (to me anyway) advantage of it is that it does away with that 5 seconds of cranking involved on a cold start...

You can just go with LED bulbs which have all the brightness benefits but keep originality. Need to change bimetallic strip though or they will flash too fast.
